Smoked Mussel Toasties


Crunchy bread filled with a smoked mussel makes a quick and easy party nibble

Step 1

Drain John West Smoked Mussels and reserve oil.

Step 2

Remove crusts from bread and using a rolling pin roll bread out to half its thickness. Cut each piece of bread into 6 strips.

Step 3

Roll a piece of bread around each mussel and secure with a toothpick. Brush with reserved oil and bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for 10 minutes. Serve with lime wedges.

Tasty Tip!

Bread can be spread with a little pesto before wrapping around mussel.
