Pasta Alla Vodka

Gemelli Pasta served in a rich and creamy tomato, vodka sauce, with just a hint of spice. Restaurant quality in the comfort of your own home!

Ingredients

  • 200g gemelli or spiral pasta
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 shallot, finely sliced
  • Chilli flakes, to taste
  • 400g jar Providore d'Italia Creamy Tomato Vodka Pasta Sauce
  • Finely grated parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley, for serving

Method

STEP 1
Cook pasta following packet directions.
STEP 2
Meanwhile, heat oil in a large non stick frypan over medium heat. Add shallot, chilli and cook for 2-3 minutes, until shallot softens.
STEP 3
Add Providore d'Italia Sauce and heat through, stirring occasionally, until sauce comes to the boil. Reduce heat, add hot pasta and stir to coat.
STEP 4
Serve sprinkled with parmesan and parsley.
Tips
Add pan fried prosciutto for extra indulgence.
