Tuna Cheese Pickle Melt

A match made in heaven, oozy cheese and tuna, sandwiched between toasted rye bread.

Ingredients

  • 95g can John West Tuna - in Olive Oil Blend, drained
  • 1 teaspoon mayonnaise
  • 1 gherkin, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 slices rye bread

Method

STEP 1
Combine John West Tuna, mayonnaise and gherkins in a bowl. Season to taste.
STEP 2
Spread tuna mixture on a slice of bread and top with cheese. Sandwich with remaining bread.
STEP 3
Spray both sides of sandwich with oil spray. Cook until crisp, golden and cheese has melted. Serve immediately.
Tips
Serve garnished with extra gherkins on the side.
