Tuscan Tuna Crostini

Tomato and onion flavoured tuna on garlic crostini, finished with green olives and extra virgin olive oil.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons chopped Sicilian olives
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped red onion
  • ½ clove garlic
  • 6 thin slices baguette, toasted on both sides
  • 1½ tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 90g can John West Protein+ Calcium Rich Tuna - Tomato & Onion
  • Extra virgin olive oil, for drizzling
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Method

STEP 1
Combine olives and onion in a small bowl and set aside.
STEP 2
Lightly rub garlic on toasted baguette. Spread mayonnaise on bread and top with John West Tuna and combined olives and onion.
STEP 3
Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and garnish with basil leaves. Serve immediately.
